Additional hunter education course offered
Because of the overwhelming response to the last hunter education class, another class will be offered at Colorado Mountain College on Saturday and Sunday. The class will begin at 9 a.m. each day, and attendance is required both days. The fee will be $10. Students must pick up the class manual before the start of class. Bust of Steamboat tickets on sale for Oct. 24 event
The seventh annual Bust of Steamboat is from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 24 at Three Peaks Grill. Twenty bras will be submitted by local artists for a live auction to raise money for breast cancer awareness. A 2009 season ski pass to Steamboat Ski Area goes to the highest bidder.
You can preview bras and busts at local banks during October.
All proceeds stay in Routt and Moffat counties to help uninsured and underinsured women pay for mammograms, annual wellness exams and breast cancer treatment costs.
