Major street construction in Oak Creek continues Phase 1

A major street construction project is continuing in Oak Creek, as contractors are working to wrap up the initial water/sewer work on Phase 1 of the project.
The asphalt and paving of Phase 1 is expected to begin shortly and continue through early-mid June. As Phase 1 wraps up, contractors will begin the initial work on Phase 2, including the necessary asphalt milling and trenching work.
Additional signs directing traffic toward local businesses will be deployed this week, and the town will continue to work with businesses to plan for future construction related impacts.
Residents and visitors are reminded that parking is no longer permitted anywhere along Nancy Crawford Boulevard. The lot behind the Circle R Building has been graded and graveled to provide additional parking for those this may affect. This city asks that motorists be considerate of the limited parking for Main Street businesses, and those who need alternative employee parking are invited to call 970-736-2422.
Those experiencing issues that need attention and who are unable to reach Town Hall are asked to call 970-819-1465 to report concerns. Voicemail messages will be returned. Any serious concerns or emergencies should be reported to dispatch at 970-879-1090.
