Steamboat briefs: City Council to discuss housing Tuesday night
February 15, 2010
The Steamboat Springs City Council meets at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Centennial Hall on 10th Street, first convening as the city's redevelopment authority and liquor license authority before beginning City Council action at about 5:45 p.m. The council agenda includes a discussion with the Yampa Valley Housing Authority, to address financial and strategic plans, and a second and potentially final reading of an ordinance proposing changes to the fee-in-lieu structure in the city's community housing policy. The City Council has discussed such a change since last spring, and tabled the ordinance for months to clarify details of the proposed fee-in-lieu structure.
Call city offices at 879-2060 with questions, or visit the "City Council" page at http://www.steam
