Steamboat briefs: Additional Peace Pavilion pavers now available

The Rotary Club of Steamboat Springs dedicated and gifted to the city of Steamboat Springs the Peace Pavilion at Rotary Park in August 2015.

The pavilion features a mosaic floor filled with more than 200 pavers engraved with tributes and messages, and now, the Rotary Club is ready to launch the second phase of paver sales. Funds generated from the sales will be used to complete landscaping and support future community peace programming.

Pavers come in three sizes: 6-by-12 inch, $250; 9-by-12 inch, $1,000; or 12-by-12 inch, $2,500. The deadline to order is Saturday, and pavers will be installed by early November. Email Ellen Kendall at peacepavers@earthlink.net or 303-641-6149 to order.
