Steamboat briefs: 14th Judicial District offers clinic on marriage dissolution
June 25, 2017
The 14th Judicial District, which includes Grand, Moffat and Routt counties, has scheduled a free legal clinic from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 27 to help educate self-represented litigants on issues in marriage-dissolution cases.
It will focus on procedures for filing for dissolution of marriage with minor children, including temporary orders, as well as basic information about motions filing following issuance of a decree in a dissolution case.
The clinic, which will be held in the conference room at Bud Werner Memorial Library in Steamboat Springs, is being offered by the judicial district's Self Help Program in conjunction with the library's reference department. Information on the library's legal research resources will also be provided.
Contact the Self Help Program at firstname.lastname@example.org or 970-879-5020 for more information.
Rep. Tipton to hold town hall meeting via telephone
U.S. Rep. Scott Tipton will host a telephone town hall meeting at 6 p.m. Monday. All constituents of Colorado's 3rd Congressional District are invited to participate.
"With a district that includes 29 of the 64 counties in the state, it's not always possible to visit every community as many times I would like each year," Tipton said in a news release.
