Steamboat Bike Park to open Saturday, one week early

Staff report

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Steamboat Bike Park will open for the season this weekend, according to a release from Steamboat Resort.

The park, which was previously scheduled to open June 15, is opening early because of “warm and dry spring conditions,” according to the release.

All Bike Park trails, with the exception of EZ Rider and Flying Diamond, will open at 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday before closing throughout the workweek. The Bike Park and other activities at the resort, including the gondola and Adventure Zone, will reopen when daily operations begin June 15. All multiuse trails are open.
