Q. When did you move to Routt County, and what brought you here?

A. Three years ago, and my husband brought me. We were doing some traveling when we found Steamboat.

Q. What’s the biggest risk you’ve taken recently?

A. Opening a new retail boutique – this might not be the best economy in which to open a small business.

Q. Describe your morning routine.

A. Coffee, run or gym, play with the puppies, kiss the hubby and off to Over The Moon.

Q. Has a book ever changed your life? What was it and why?

A. “Ishmael” by Daniel Quinn. I had to read this in my grad program and it gave me a whole new perspective on life at the time.

Q. What three things would you want people to know about you?

A. I love to have a good time, I am always up for anything, and I was lucky enough to marry my very best friend, and I couldn’t be happier.

Q. What did you want to be when you grew up?

A. A marine biologist; made it all the way through college and then moved to the mountains.

Q. If you could invite any four people to dinner, who would they be and what would you talk about?

A. Pat Conroy, Chris McCandless, Shakespeare and my husband (Brad). I’d serve my famous fried chicken.

Q. Do you collect anything?

A. I used to collect water (in film canisters) from oceans all over the world.

Q. What was your first job?

A. Ben & Jerry’s.

Q. Who is your favorite superhero? Why?

A. My dad – he’s the greatest man I’ve ever met.

Q. Do you have a tattoo? If so, what of and why did you choose it?

A. I actually have four: mermaid, dolphin, Chinese character “the journey” and a sun with the character “eternal” matching my best friend’s, which states “companions.”
