12:09 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a light pole at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue that was damaged.

11:55 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a smartphone that was stolen from someone in Steamboat.

11:56 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a tree that was on fire in the 30700 block of Elk Lane.

2:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a 48-year-old man who was struck by a piece of steel during a construction accident at a home in the 1100 block of Steamboat Boulevard. The man was taken to UCHealth Yampa Valley Medial Center and died from the injuries.

3:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a 17-year-old boy who was bitten on the lower lip by a dog.

3:17 p.m. Officers were called to a complaint about a driver speeding on Laurel Lane. Police stopped the vehicle as it was leaving the area, and the driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of marijuana.

7:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 1300 block of Mountain Village Circle. Two female roommates were not getting along and they were breaking each others’ property. The roommates did not want to press any charges against each other.

10:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of neighbors not getting along in the 300 block of River Road. One of the neighbors was reportedly yelling outside. Police said the argument was part of an ongoing issue between the neighbors.
