The Humble Ranch

Trail-a-thon is Sept. 13

Hikers and horseback riders (bring your own horses) can spend the day exploring Emerald Mountain while raising funds to help support the operation of the Humble Ranch Education and Therapy Center, a non-profit organization. The ranch is across the Yampa River from the Haymaker Golf Course on County Road 14. This year’s goal is to raise $10,000.

The Trail-a-thon includes 12- or four-mile horseback rides, a seven-mile hike up and over Emerald Mountain, a Family Fun walk to the Yampa River, a riding demonstration, a barbecue lunch provided by the Routt County CattleWomen, live music provided by the Humble Pickers, and more.
