Men pose as housekeepers: The Record for Friday, Feb. 10, 2017

12:08 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of an assault at a restaurant in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive. A kitchen boss reportedly punched a cook. No one wanted to pursue charges.

3:40 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with a medical problem at Colorado Mountain College.

12:34 p.m. A person came to the police department to report a man pushed a 9-year-old girl.

1:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two men posing as housekeepers in the 2300 block of Ski Time Square Drive. A maintenance worker tackled one of the men and held him until police arrived. The other man was later located. Both were arrested on suspicion of felony second-degree burglary, theft and second-degree criminal trespassing. Police were investigating whether they were responsible for other thefts in the area.

2:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a cabin damaged by a tenant in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

3:41 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the first block of Cypress Court. A woman came home and found an envelope from "National Polls" on her counter. The woman was afraid to open the envelope. Police canvassed the area.

5:26 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with a medical problem in the 500 block of Anglers Drive.

8:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person sending harassing text messages. Police told the person to stop.

11:17 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person having a seizure in the first block of Jackpine Court.
