Man cussing, causing disturbance: The Record for Wednesday, March 21, 2018

1:54 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of two men yelling in the 1300 block of Walton Creek Road. A taxi driver had gotten into an argument with someone who pounded on the taxi window.

9:15 a.m. Officers were called to a report of theft at Steamboat Ski Area. A woman tried to use the gondola without having a pass. She was issued a citation.

12:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a teenager with marijuana at a school.

3:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at a bus stop in the 2300 block of Lincoln Avenue. Two sketchy males asked someone if they needed a ride.

5:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a transient man possibly sleeping in the 2500 block of South Copper Frontage. Police found a trailer that was attached to a bike. There was a note on the bike asking that it not be removed because the owner had gone to Hahn's Peak.

7:15 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help with a fuel spill in the 300 block of Myers Street.

7:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious man yelling and cussing at a marijuana store in the 1700 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police contacted the man at a candy store in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue, where he had also been causing a disturbance. Police tried to find someone sober to take the man home. They were unsuccessful, and the man was taken to jail on suspicion of disorderly conduct.

10:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a gift card stolen from the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.

11:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a student with marijuana and paraphernalia at Colorado Mountain College. The student was issued a citation.
