Friday, June 6

2:44 a.m. Domestic violence was reported in Steamboat Springs. The incident was cleared as a verbal-only argument.

7:22 a.m. A bear was reported in the 1900 block of Ski Time Square Drive. The Colorado Division of Wildlife was notified.

10:05 a.m. A dog at large was reported in the alley between the 300 blocks of Pine and Oak streets. Police gave a warning.

1:14 p.m. A vehicle complaint was received from Lincoln Avenue and Third Street, where a dump truck without a gas cap was spilling fuel on the road. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

1:15 p.m. A parking complaint was received from the 2000 block of Curve Plaza.

1:44 p.m. A dog at large was reported at Oak and Ninth streets. Police were unable to locate the animal.

2:35 p.m. Police assisted a motorist on Chinook Lane.

2:35 p.m. A fight in progress was reported in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. The two people involved refused to press charges and left voluntarily.

3:01 p.m. An ambulance was requested in Steamboat Springs, where a 22-year-old man was pinned underneath an excavator that rolled down a hill. The man was freed and transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

4:56 p.m. A Steamboat Springs woman was arrested on a probation violation in the 1900 block of Shield Drive.

5:32 p.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 200 block of South Carbon Street in Oak Creek.

5:44 p.m. A drunken driver was reported heading westbound on U.S. Highway 40 near Elk River Road. Law enforcement officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

6:09 p.m. An abandoned vehicle was reported near mile marker 61 on Colorado Highway 131.

6:14 p.m. A bear was reported in the 300 block of South Poplar Street in Hayden. The Colorado Division of Wildlife was notified.

6:20 p.m. A noise complaint was received from the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive. The noisy parties were gone when police arrived.

6:22 p.m. A Steamboat Springs man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and possessing an open container during a traffic stop on Seventh Street.

7:15 p.m. A vehicle complaint was received near mile marker 122 on U.S. 40. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies gave a warning.

7:17 p.m. A residential burglary was reported in the 26800 block of Placer Place in Clark. Sheriff’s Office deputies took a report.

8:40 p.m. A Hayden man was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 400 block of East Lincoln Avenue in Hayden.

9:26 p.m. A Steamboat Springs man was arrested on an outstanding warrant during a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

9:58 p.m. A domestic disturbance was reported in Steamboat Springs, where two people were yelling at each other in the street. The incident was cleared as a verbal-only argument.

10:11 p.m. A one-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported on Mount Werner Circle, where a car struck a lamppost. Police took a report.

10:13 p.m. Theft of a laptop was reported in the 3200 block of AprÃs Ski Way. Police took a report.

11:45 p.m. A bear was reported in the 2000 block of Cornice Road. The Colorado Division of Wildlife was notified.
