Police, fire and ambulance calls

Friday, Dec. 21

12:16 a.m. Police assisted a motorist in the 1900 block of Curve Plaza.

2:24 a.m. A noise complaint was received from the 2700 block of Village Drive.

2:39 a.m. Harassment was reported in Steamboat Springs, because of a verbal argument between two people. Neither party wanted to press charges. Steamboat Springs Police took a report.

3:04 a.m. A disturbance was reported on Chinook Lane, where a taxi driver and a customer were having a verbal disagreement. Police mediated the situation and gave a warning.

4:18 a.m. Police assisted city snowplows in enforcing nighttime parking restrictions in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.

5:38 a.m. A vehicle complaint was received from 13th Street, where parked semitrailers were obstructing snowplows. Police gave the drivers warnings.

7:13 a.m. Several cars were reported in the ditch near mile marker 9 on C.R. 14, due to gusting winds and snow on the road. The vehicles were not damaged and there were no injuries.

7:23 a.m. An ambulance was requested in Oak Creek.

7:49 a.m. A one-vehicle hit-and-run accident was reported from Park Avenue, where a car hit a fence overnight. Police issued a summons.

8:03 a.m. A vehicle complaint was received from mile marker 11 on C.R. 14, where a driver was speeding and passing cars inappropriately. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.

8:50 a.m. A dog at large was reported on Fish Creek Falls Road. The animal was taken into custody.

9:46 a.m. Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a man on an outstanding warrant.

9:08 a.m. An illegally parked vehicle was towed from the 1000 block of Central Park Drive.

10:39 a.m. Vandalism was reported in the 38800 block of Spruce Street in Milner, where a car’s antenna had been snapped off. Sheriff’s Office deputies took a report.

11:12 a.m. Sheriff’s Office deputies assisted a motorist near mile marker 11 on C.R. 14.

11:22 a.m. A disturbance was reported in the 3100 block of Ingles Lane, where two parties were arguing about a motel rate. Police mediated the dispute.

1:05 p.m. An illegally parked vehicle was towed from the 1000 block of Central Park Drive.

5:01 p.m. Sheriff’s Office deputies assisted a motorist near mile marker 6 on C.R. 129.

5:21 p.m. Vandalism was reported in a parking lot off Mount Werner Circle. Police took a report.

6:24 p.m. A motor vehicle accident was reported in the 600 block of South Lincoln Avenue. There were no injuries. Police took a report.

6:46 p.m. Police assisted a motorist in a parking lot off Mount Werner Circle.

7:22 p.m. A welfare check was requested for a person in Steamboat Springs. The person was fine.

7:48 p.m. Police assisted a motorist at the intersection of Mount Werner Circle and Apres Ski Way.

8:36 p.m. A man was arrested for driving with a revoked license during a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. Highway 40 and Dream Island Plaza.

9:34 p.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 1200 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

9:50 p.m. A disturbance was reported in the 2200 block of County Shop Road. Everything was fine.

10:03 p.m. A noise complaint was received from the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza. Everything was quiet when officers arrived.

11:36 p.m. Police assisted a motorist in the 2900 block of Columbine Drive.
