Intoxicated snowboarder crashes into ski patroller snowmobile: The Record for Friday, Jan. 12, 2018

12:43 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a complaint of 20 people in a hot tub who were not supposed to be at and were refusing to leave near Eagleridge Townhomes. When the officers arrived, the hot tub violators were gone.

7:05 a.m. Officers were called to report of a male party who was reportedly swearing and screaming at passerby near Safeway. A report was taken.

9:35 a.m. Officers were called to a complaint of someone whose Snapchat account was hacked in the 1400 block of Flattop Circle.

11:25 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a male whose laptop sneakers and cellphone were stolen in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza. A report was taken.

11:52 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a neighbor sending threatening text messages who then proceeded to drive through the reporting person’s yard in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue. A report was taken for now.

7:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an intoxicated snowboarder who crashed into a ski patroller snowmobile near Gondola Square. Officers who responded took a report of the incident.

10:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a party, who has a rental unit through a local property management company in the 700 block of Majestic Circle. And had been informed there were people seen staying in the unit but he hadn’t been informed it was rented. A report was taken as there was a miscommunication with the management company.
