Say Boo to the Flu clinics Oct. 25 and 26

Northwest Colorado Health will host Say Boo to the Flu clinics from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 at South Routt Elementary School and from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26 at Northwest Colorado Health, 940 Central Park Drive, Suite 101.

Flu shots will be available for all ages. Children will receive a new book when they get their flu shot. Bring Medicaid, CHP+ or other insurance cards. Low-cost options are available for individuals who don't have insurance. Cash and checks will be accepted.

Drop-in flu clinics in Clark Monday

Northwest Colorado Health is holding drop in flu clinics in Clark on Monday, Oct. 17. The clinics will be from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at North Routt Charter School and from 4:15 to 6 p.m. at the Clark Store.

Flu and pneumonia shots will be available for all ages. Bring Medicare, Medicaid, CHP+ (Child Health Plan Plus) or other insurance cards. Low-cost options are available to individuals who do not have insurance. Cash and checks will be accepted.


Support group for grieving parents to meet

A support group for parents grieving the loss of a child will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24 and Monday, Nov. 7 at the Rollingstone Respite House, 480 Rollingstone Drive. The group is intended to help parents who have lost children of any age find support among other parents experiencing similar loss. For more information, call Jo Anne Grace at 970-846-8319.

Blood drive scheduled for YVMC

Alzheimer’s presentation at Hayden Library

Get answers to questions about memory loss and the potential impact of a healthy lifestyle on the risk for Alzheimer’s disease.
