— The Hayden Public Library announces its second Reader of the Week for this year’s Summer Reading Program. Aislynn Dale, 2, received the honor. Aislynn is the daughter of Seth and Breann Dale. She has one older brother, Brayden, who is 5 years old.

Brayden is Aislynn’s best friend, and she said she likes to play in the water with him at Elkhead Reservoir. Aislynn has lived in Hayden for 1 1/2 years. She has four pets: two cats named Mason and Emmie and two dogs names Ollie and Lucie. When we asked Aislynn what she wanted to be when she grew up, she said, “Big!”

Aislynn’s favorite color is pink and her favorite food is chocolate. She loves to eat candy bars. Aislynn loves to watch Tinker Bell on TV. In her spare time, she likes to dance and sing. Aislynn’s favorite sport is ice skating and she really likes Dr. Seuss. She reads at home with her mom, dad and brother. We asked her what school she was going to go to and she said, “high school” with a big smile.

This summer, Aislynn plans to go camping with her family. She also wants to play with her brother again at the lake. Her family also makes trips to Denver where Aislynn visits the Denver Zoo. She said she was excited about being the Reader of the Week. Way to go Aislynn!
