Hayden announces town manager finalists

— The town of Hayden has narrowed the field and selected four finalists to be the new town manager.

Acting town manager Greg Tuliszewski said 38 people applied for the job. The town hired a search firm to recruit candidates and review applications.

"The Town is very happy with the quality of our applicant pool," Tuliszewski said. "The challenges that face the town over the next few years, between future growth and balancing the desire to maintain our small town feel, requires a skill set that many of the applicants possessed. Narrowing the applicants down to our finalist presented a challenge to achieve that balance, which we believe we have with these finalists."

The town will host a meet and greet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Town Hall for the public to meet the candidates. The community is encouraged to attend and provide feedback.

Town council members will take that feedback and interview the candidates Wednesday.
