Opening Night Orchestra

The Strings 30th anniversary festival season opens with a night of Baroque favorites by Handel and Bach. Music Director Michael Sachs is featured on the Neruda Trumpet Concerto, with Martin Chalifour, concertmaster of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, leading the Strings Festival Orchestra.

The South Routt Economic Development Council and Friends of Gateway Yampa present the Yampa Market.  An old-fashioned time with local foods and talent highlighting musicians and performers, artisans and crafters, farmers, ranchers, gardeners, nonprofits, community groups and community members. Each market will highlight different vendors and. of course, beautiful Colorado produce. There will also be a different children’s activity at each market.
