Fry shines at Fort Lewis

Nikki Fry, a 2013 Steamboat Springs High School graduate, was named to the 2016 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women’s Lacrosse All-Academic honor roll.

Fry got it done this season, both in the classroom and on the field at Fort Lewis College. She posted a 3.54 grade point average while pursuing an exercise science degree and also started two games and played in 14 for the women’s lacrosse team.

Fry, the Steamboat Pilot & Today’s 2013 Steamboat Springs High School athlete of the year, has scored eight goals this season and logged one assist.



Her team finished the year 8-6, overall, and 4-3 in the RMAC, but lost in the first round of the conference tournament.
