Police, fire and ambulance calls


1:14 a.m.
Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of loud stomping noises in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue. A warning was issued.

3:20 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who was bleeding in the 3100 block of Ingles Lane.

8:47 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 10300 block of U.S. Highway 40.

9:26 a.m. West Routt firefighters were called to help a person who fainted at a power plant in the 13100 block of U.S. 40.

10:24 a.m. Officers were called to a report of an iPad stolen in the 2300 block of Ski Trail Lane. It was later found.

12:10 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a juvenile who ran away from home.

12:31 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a semi blocking the road at Hilltop Parkway and South Lincoln Avenue. While in the area, an officer was alerted to a box of frozen salmon on the road. The salmon fell out of a delivery truck, and police delivered it to the intended restaurant.

12:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of credit cards found on city buses.

1:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a ring found on the Yampa River Core Trail.

2:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fraud in the 300 block of Blue Sage Circle involving a Social Security number.

3:59 p.m. West Routt firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 300 block of South Shelton Lane.

4:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of four-wheelers driving on the road at Val D'Isere Circle and Laurel Lane.

6:16 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with back pain in the 2900 block of Columbine Drive.

6:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken driver in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. The driver could not be located.

7:45 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with a medical issue in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

8:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car speeding in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

10:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment involving unwanted phone calls and text messages.

10:41 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man trespassing at a hotel in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The transient man had been loitering and was told not to return. He returned and also reportedly got into the driver’s seat of an unoccupied car. The 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing.
