Police, fire and ambulance calls
2:42 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a drunken man walking in the road. He was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
3:02 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 3300 block of Whistler Road. A person received a message from a friend saying there was an unwanted man at the friend's home. Police went to the home, but no man was there. The friend did not know what the message was about.
5:37 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a man messing around with construction equipment in the 600 block of Clermont Circle. The man was an employee getting trucks ready to plow snow.
12:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fraud in the 1000 block of Thornburg Street. It involved someone who claimed to be with the IRS.
3:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person's dog having been attacked by two other dogs in the 800 block of Merritt Street.

3:34 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a man with a medical problem in the 200 block of South Poplar Street.
4:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 100 block of Mountain Village Circle. A couple was upset because their roommate had brought a dog back from Denver and was storing things in the garage. There had been a heated argument, and police mediated the situation.
