Police, fire and ambulance calls


7:10 a.m.
Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a wallet found in the first block of Seventh Street.

8:31 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a transient loitering at a restaurant in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. He was told not to return.

8:58 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a phone found at Fish Creek Falls Road and Harwig Circle.

11:16 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a passport.

1:07 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a chimney fire in the 400 block of Pearl Street.

3:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person camping outside a condo building in the first block of Sixth Street. No one was there when police arrived.

4:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a customer who was upset with the quality of his sandwich at a restaurant in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. The customer got into an argument with the employee and left.

4:45 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a man who overdosed on marijuana in the 1800 block of Highland Way. The man called for help after he passed out.

6:51 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who was bleeding in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.

7:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver’s license found in the first block of Eighth Street.

8:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car speeding at Walton Creek Road and Whistler Road. It could not be located.

10:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious car that had been parked for awhile in the 1700 block of Brome Drive. There were two people inside, and one was given a ticket for underage possession of marijuana.
