Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:50 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a fight at a pub in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

2:26 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a fight in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. The fight did not result in any arrests.

3:07 a.m. Officers were called to a complaint about loud noises in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle.

9:53 a.m. Officers were called to mediate an argument between a mother and daughter at a condo in Ore House Plaza.

10:12 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit and run at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

10:22 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person kicking in a door of a pump house along the Yampa River Core Trail. The door had already been fixed when officers arrived.

11:31 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to assist the ski patrol with a patient at Steamboat Ski Area. Emergency responders were called back to the mountain to tend to injuries three more times later in the afternoon.

3:07 p.m. Officers were called to a report of three moose at Clubhouse Drive and Steamboat Boulevard. The moose — a pair of juveniles and their mother — were later seen taking naps in the area and then eating in front of nearby homes. Many vehicles stopped to view the moose.

5:20 p.m. Emergency responders were called to check on a person who was unconscious at the KOA Campground.

7: 21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of ski goggles that were taken off of a snowmobile parked at a hotel in the 1000 block of Walton Creek Road.

7:40 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies assisted a motorist on U.S. Highway 40 in Steamboat.
