Police, fire and ambulance calls

4:10 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of an animal bite in the 300 block of Eighth Street. An officer was bit on the left calf by a dog.

10:41 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a house getting egged in the 300 block of Short Street.

11:32 a.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment in the 3100 block of Columbine Drive. The case is being handled by the Oak Creek Police Department.

12:32 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to assist ski patrol in the 2200 block of Apres Ski Way.

12:45 p.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a report of an animal complaint in the 6400 block of County Road 65 in Hayden.

8:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance near Sixth Street and Lincoln Avenue. A woman had given her car keys to a man to warm up her car. The woman thought the man had stolen her car, but instead had gone to fill the car up with gas.

11:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit and run accident in the 200 block of River Road. The driver was found and arrested for driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.
