Police, fire and ambulance calls

7:57 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of house and car having been egged in the 1100 block of Longview Circle.

8:45 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person screaming loudly at people near Bud Werner Memorial Library. He was not found.

9:06 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run crash near Skyview Lane and Whistler Road.

9:50 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noise complaint in the 3000 block of Village Drive. People reportedly had been playing loud music all night.

10:55 a.m. Officers were called to help a person take their reluctant friend to the hospital in the 2200 block of Curve Plaza. The issue was resolved peacefully.

11:04 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a report of an animal complaint in the Silver Spur neighborhood.

1:00 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog at-large in the 100 block of Hillside Drive.

1:15 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a possible gas leak inside a drug store in the 100 block of Main Street in Oak Creek.

2:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of shoplifting at a clothing store in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. Two females attempted to steal a T-shirt, which later was recovered.

2:51 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of someone having difficulty breathing in the 900 block of Pine Grove Circle.

2:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle near Angels View Way and Secluded Court. The vehicle was contacted and no problem was found.

3:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog at-large near Whislter Road and Mountain Village.

6:45 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a possible outside gas leak near Laurel Street and Spruce Street.

7:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an audible alarm sounding at a jewelry store in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. Nothing was amiss when officers arrived.

7:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people cooking food in their hotel room in the 3100 block of Ingles Lane, which is against hotel policy.

9:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noise complaint in the 2700 block of Eagleridge Drive. A woman went to bed early to catch a morning flight and thought her roommates were being loud and destructive in the other room.

10:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person walking on U.S. Highway 40.

11:48 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of someone suffering from back pain in the 2800 block of Owl Hoot Trail.
