Police, fire and ambulance calls

11:19 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at the D Hole behind Bud Werner Memorial Library. Somebody found a pair of children’s underwear on the bike path and called police.

11:58 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a hit-and-run on Colorado Highway 131 near McCoy.

2:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a non-injury car crash at Anglers Drive and South Lincoln Avenue.

2:52 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person who didn’t show up to work somewhere in Routt County. The person was found safe on Tuesday morning in Steamboat.

3:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of woman who lost a jewelry case after she left it on top of her vehicle near mile marker 131 of U.S. Highway 40 and drove off. The case reportedly contained $2,000 worth of jewelry. It hadn’t been found as of Tuesday morning.

4:34 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue paramedics and Routt County Search and Rescue volunteers were called to a report of a 40-year-old man who had a seizure while hiking on a trail on Mount Werner. The man was airlifted to a hospital.

4:36 p.m. Fire Rescue paramedics were called to a report of a 55-year-old man who possible broke his neck while mountain biking on an advanced trail at the Steamboat Ski Area. The man was airlifted to a hospital.

5:30 p.m. Fire Rescue paramedics were called to a report of someone having a stroke at Old Town Hot Springs.

9:26 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a burglary in the 200 block of South Sharp Avenue in Oak Creek. No information was available.

10:32 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver who was weaving at Walton Creek Road and Village Drive. The driver could not be located.

11:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a taxi passenger on Skyview Lane who was so intoxicated he couldn’t tell the driver where he lived. The intoxicated passenger was taken to the hospital.
