Police, fire and ambulance calls

2:50 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Frontage. A security officer said a car had been driven on top of a rock. The driver was located and given a ticket for failing to report an accident.

9:54 a.m. A person came to the police department to report license plates stolen off a car.

11:11 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of an accident in the 32000 block of Routt County Road 14. The airbags went off, and the driver sustained facial injuries.

2:10 p.m. Officers were called to a report of cars parked illegally in the 300 block of Seventh Street.

4:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of shoplifting in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A man dropped the $250 worth of merchandise while trying to flee. The man also dropped a birth certificate police believe belonged to the man. Police have been unable to find the man.

4:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog that bit another dog at Emerald Park.

5:05 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a man who fell off a one-story roof in the 42500 block of Routt County Road 76.

7:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 2600 block of Windward Way. Footprints in the snow were found leading to the garage, and a suspicious male had been seen in the area recently.

7:34 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an assault in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle. A man reported being jumped by two males.

11:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of four or five people punching each other in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle.
