Police, fire and ambulance calls

5:40 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies assisted a motorist near mile marker 144 on U.S. Highway 40.

6:03 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of pole wires on fire in the 26700 block of U.S. Highway 40.

6:26 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of a motor vehicle crash near mile marker 58 on Colorado Highway 131 in Oak Creek.

8:03 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers helped with traffic control after a car slid off the road near Fish Creek Falls Road and Amethyst Drive.

8:13 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car sliding off the road near Mount Werner Road and Lincoln Avenue.

8:15 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a residential intrusion alarm sounding in the 2600 block of Ridge Road. It was a false alarm.

8:19 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of an elevator emergency at a bank in the 200 block of Anglers Drive.

10:24 a.m. Officers were called to a report of an animal complaint near Hillside Drive and Storm Peak Court. A lab was caught and taken to the shelter.

10:24 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of fraud in the 1700 block of Alexandre Way.

1:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fraud in the 700 block of Sandhill Circle. Someone's debit card had been compromised.

2:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two guns being stolen from a store in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.

3 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an animal complaint near Shield Drive and Bridge Lane. A German shorthair was caught and taken to the shelter.

3:16 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of someone having a seizure in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue.

7:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a bar in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. Two patrons were causing problems and were asked to leave. Less than an hour later, officers were called to a different bar on Lincoln Avenue about the same two people, who were again asked to leave.

7:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog at large in the 800 block of The Boulevard. The chocolate lab was not caught.

11:52 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a fight in front of a bar in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.
