Construction continues on Yampa, Oak streets

Work will continue this week on the Yampa and Oak street renovation projects.

Though no work is scheduled for today, closures remain in effect throughout the holiday weekend.

Yampa Street will remain closed to traffic between 10th and 12th streets, and minor shoulder closures will be in effect between Fifth and 10th streets.

The Ninth Street pedestrian bridge was expected to reopen during the weekend, and the Eighth Street parking lot is now open, with new parking configuration and entry/exit access.

Pedestrian and bicycle access will remain open via the Core Trail, with pedestrians from the north side routed to the Core Trail to safely navigate the work zone. Businesses will remain accessible at all times

On Oak Street, work for the coming week will focus on the following two areas.
