Wild Films set to screen giraffe feature and rhino short at library

Bud Werner Memorial Library presents a free screening of "Giraffes: Africa's Gentle Giants," winner of the Best Broadcast Feature Award at the 2017 International Wildlife Film Festival, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Library Hall.
In collaboration with a determined Ugandan Wildlife Authority team, Dr. Julian Fennessy wants to round up 20 of the world's rarest giraffes to get them to safety through the wild heart of Uganda, which means embarking on a special voyage across the mighty Nile River.
The evening includes a bonus screening of "The Rhino Guardians," a short film about the Black Mambas – the world's first all-female anti-poaching unit operating in the Balule Game Reserve in South Africa.
