Chanukah will be celebrated during Menorah lighting event

A public Menorah lighting ceremony will be held at 3:30 p.m. today at the Steamboat Stage in Gondola Square at the base of Steamboat Ski Area. The free event, which is open to the community, celebrates Chanukah and will include music, hot latkes, dreidels and special children's activities.

United Way recruiting holiday bell ringers

Routt County United Way is in need of bell ringers. Shifts are available on weekends through Christmas

This is a festive opportunity for office groups, clubs or family to take a day and give back to the community by ringing a bell for donations in front of Safeway and City Market. Wild Films features 'Light on Earth' today

Bud Werner Memorial Library in Steamboat Springs presents a free screening of "Light on Earth," a featured film from the 2017 International Wildlife Film Festival, at 6:30 p.m. today in Library Hall. Sir David Attenborough is the guide, taking viewers into a world he describes as "utterly unlike our own." He and a team of the world's leading scientists embark on a quest into the fascinating realm of living light.
