Car reported driving on Core Trail; drunken pedestrian passed out in alley The Record for Friday, Feb. 2, 2018

10:46 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a person who came in to the building in the 400 block of Oak Street. The person was seeking assistance, then stole items from the people they were talking to.

10:54 a.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who called in reporting that they witnessed a person smoking a cigarette with a baby in the car.

6:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a party who stated they were given a fake check from the work they did for a modeling job in the 1500 block of Skyview Lane. A report was taken.

8:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who saw a car driving on the Yampa River Core Trail in the 300 block of Mount Werner Road near Rotary Park. Officers were unable to locate the car when they were in the area.

10 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an intoxicated person who refused to leave the establishment near the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive. He was released to a sober person.

10:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person passed out in the alleyway near Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue. Soon after officers found the person, they were picked up by a friend.

11:05 p.m. Officers were flagged down by a person located at the corner of 10th Street and Lincoln Avenue about a bar fight. Officers mediated the situation and the parties involved were separated by the officer.
