Car hits boulder: The Record for Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017

10:14 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a possible structure fire at a bar in the 100 block of East Jefferson Avenue. There was no fire; just smoke from the fryer that had been left on.

1:02 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with trauma in the 32300 block of Manitou Avenue.



3:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a fiber optic line damaged by construction workers at Lincoln Avenue and County Shop Road.

6:22 p.m. Officers were call to a report of a disturbance involving two males in the 1700 block of Central Park Drive. They were separated.



6:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a transient man who approached someone asking for personal information in the first block of Ninth Street.

7:25 p.m. Officers were call to a report of a possible drunken driver who hit a boulder and then revved the engine at Après Ski Way and Village Drive.

12:01 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of loud noise in the 1300 block of Athens Plaza.
