Business Briefs: Steamboat Springs could be named best Main Street Community

Steamboat Springs has a shot at becoming the Best Colorado Main Street Community of the Year.

Steamboat’s fate in the competition now rests in the hands of online voters.

Steamboat is up against Brush, Ridgeway and Victor for the title.

A panel of judges from the Colorado Department of Local Affairs selected the finalists.

Community members can vote for their favorite Main Street community through Monday by visiting a link on Mainstreet Steamboat’s Facebook page.

Alpine bank announces promotion

Lily Lewis has joined the Alpine Bank in Steamboat Springs as bank officer.

Lewis will assist the lending team with commercial and consumer loans.

She holds an MBA from Georgia State University and a degree in economics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, according to a news release.

She previously worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.

Ski rental company recognized for growth
