Steamboat Tennis Center hosts open house for SERVES program

The Steamboat Tennis Center is hosting an open house from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 4 at the center, 2500 Pine Grove Road, to introduce its new SERVES program, which partners with the Boys & Girls Club and Partners of Routt County.

The open courts event will feature food, drinks and games on the court. Open house guests are encouraged to wear sneakers so they can participate in court activities.

The new SERVES Program, which stands for Success, Education, Respect, Values, Excellence and Self-Confidence, teaches kids, age 8 to 14, about tennis and life skills. The program, with a focus on under-resourced families in Routt County, is designed to provide quality tennis instruction along with life and leadership skills.

SERVES classes will be held every Sunday from March 18 through April 29.

To register for the free program, call 970-879-8400. Public registration is open through March 11. Visit steamboat10s.com for more information.
