Alcohol reported stolen from Ore House

More than $500 worth of alcohol was reported stolen from the Ore House on Saturday.

Steamboat Springs Police officer Brian Rogers said that bottles of wine and hard alcohol were taken from the restaurant in a laundry bag.

The police believed the culprits entered the restaurant at 1465 Pine Grove Road through the backdoor and took the alcohol from the wine cellar.

The report was made at 9:19 a.m. Saturday morning and the burglary was believed to have occurred the night before.

The police are investigating the incident. Rogers said they are looking to see if the burglary is related to other recent burglaries in the area: items taken from Smoker Friendly on Central Park Drive and alcohol taken from West End Liquors, 2432 Lincoln Avenue.
