Bereavement support group meets Tuesdays
Mending A Broken Heart, a five-week bereavement support group, meets from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays in March at the Visiting Nurse Association offices. The group will provide education and support for anyone who has suffered the death of a loved one. Call Katy Thiel, at 879-1632, ext. 33, before attending a meeting.
Borvansky hosting 3-on-3 tournament at high school
Steamboat Springs senior Devin Borvansky is hosting a 3-on-3 basketball tournament as part of his senior project at the Steamboat Springs High School.
Borvansky, a senior starter for the Sailors, is organizing the tournament to learn how to fund raise.
All profits from Saturday’s tournament will benefit the Chris Stillwell family. Stillwell’s son, Tanner, is a member of the Steamboat basketball program.

The cost to enter the half-court, self-officiated tournament is $45 per team. The final game will be called by officials.
There will be two eight-minute halves with a three-minute halftime.

Yampavalley.info holds logo-design contest
Yampavalley.info, an online information source for the Yampa Valley, is seeking artists to participate in a contest to design a logo for the Web site. Submissions, which are due March 31, should include the URL “yampavalley.info.” Entries will be posted on the Web site April 1, and a winner will be announced April 14. The winner will receive $250. Community Bible study group being formed
A group of area women is forming an international, nondenominational community Bible study group. Interested participants can call Patti at 879-7883.
Taylor, White to speak
at Republicans’ dinner
State Sen. Jack Taylor and Rep. Al White will be guest speakers at the Routt County Republicans’ annual Lincoln Day Dinner. The event begins at 5 p.m. April 10 at the Old Town Pub, and dinner will be served at 6 p.m. A fund-raising auction will be held after dinner. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased from Amy Williams at the Routt County Courthouse. Call 879-6048.
