LIFT-UP Food Bank finds new home in Oak Creek
The LIFT-UP of Routt County Food Bank has moved its Oak Creek location. The new location is in Room 4 on the third floor of the Oak Creek Community Center. Staffers hope this will be the permanent home for the food bank, which opened in 2000.
The food bank’s hours of operation also have changed. The food bank will be open from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays and Thursdays. During those times, people can get full-service food assistance as well as all of the assistance programs of LIFT-UP, including help with utilities, rent, dental bills and prescriptions.
The phone number for the new location is 736-1047.
