— All That owner Kim Haggarty and manager and buyer Kim Bates are proud of the store’s wide range of inventory, which includes men’s and women’s clothing, vinyl records and CDs, funny books and gifts and greeting cards.

“Name something we don’t have,” says Haggarty, who bought the store back in 2011. “You literally can find anything for anyone here. Any age group.”

The range of products sold at All That makes the store a triple threat in the Best of the Boat competition,picking up best gift shop, best kids gift store and best women’s clothing store.

“We’ve been described as a mini Urban Outfitters,” says Haggarty, who likes that the store appeals to women who love to shop, while also keeping men interested.

Bates said she attends a couple of shows a year and keeps the customer in mind when buying new gifts and clothing for the store, which targets both locals and out-of-towners.

“It has to be unique enough that they’re going to take it back in their suitcase,” Bates says.

The store’s focus has shifted to include more clothing than in the past, but it still stocks a wall full of CDs and vinyl records.

“Because the music industry has changed so much, we’ve had to evolve,” Bates says. “We’ve had to listen to the people who come in.”

Bates and Haggarty are both most proud of the best women’s clothing recognition, as the pair makes an effort to bring in reasonably priced clothing in small lots of six items with a styles the people like.

“When they’re gone we don’t order them again,” Bates says.

Both women also get a kick out of the store’s comedic, sometime raunchy, gift items, which including funny socks, books and magnets.

“We have a good sense of humor,” Haggarty says.
