Volunteers are needed to document art in public places for the Steamboat Springs Arts Council. Documentation will include a short description of the art object and a photo. Volunteers need a digital camera. Call 879-9008 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Plein air paintings by Jim McBrayer, Phil Wright, Zanobia, Suzy Holloran, Susan Schiesser and R.C. Dieckhoff are on display as part of the M.O.R.E. Art Site Project at the Hahn’s Peak Inn, 61723 Routt County Road 129, Hahn’s Peak. Call 870-6507.
The four original watercolors in the “Humble Ranch Series” created by local artist Greg Effinger for the Humble Ranch Benefit Silent Auction and Art Exhibit are still available at http://www.gregeffinger.com. Each of the four watercolors measure 9 by 12 inches and are $650. Each painting is completed by Effinger from the same reference photo. Allow two to four weeks for completion. All proceeds from the painting sales go to the Humble Ranch to provide therapeutic activities for individuals with special needs.

Paintings of historic Routt County buildings by former area resident Marty Alexandroff are on rotating exhibit, now at Wells Fargo National Bank. The paintings are part of a summer-long silent auction to raise money for Historic Routt County.
