Steamboat Springs — Lisa Lesyshen, the Stagecoach woman accused of murdering her 9-year-old son, Asher Lesyshen-Kirlan, is expected to enter a plea during her arraignment Thursday in Denver.
The hearing is open to the public and will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Lindsey-Flanigan Courthouse in Denver.
At arraignments, defendants typically enter a plea, and oftentimes a trial date is set.
Investigators said Lesyshen shot herself after shooting her son. She is paralyzed, and the prosecution has said it could be months before she is stabilized. That is why the hearing is in Denver, near the Denver County Jail infirmary, where she is being held.
