Fairgrounds open to public for horseback riding

Don’t let your horse get out of shape. The Routt County Fairgrounds multi-purpose building is open to the public for horseback riding. The cost is $5 an hour. Open riding sessions last through the winter with a varied schedule. Horses are not provided. The schedule is posted at http://www.routtcountyfair.org, or call 276-3068 for more information.

Volunteers needed for assistance at World Cup

Volunteers are needed daily through Dec. 10 for the 2006 Nordic Combined World Cup. Volunteers can earn free lift tickets for their time. Call 879-0880, ext. 209, for details.
