Angry man assaulted: The Record for Saturday, March 10, 2018

1:15 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a video game system and cash stolen from a condo in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle.

1:13 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a restaurant employee who claimed they were punched in the face in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. There was no evidence the person was punched.

2:17 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell at the Gondola Transit Center.

7:08 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious man who was yelling profanities and hitting cars in the 600 block of Marketplace Plaza. Someone later assaulted the man. The man had warrants for failing to appear to court and was taken to jail.

7:20 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a fight in the 1400 block of Creekside Court. It involved roommates, and no one wanted to press charges.

9:53 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person having a seizure in the 3100 block of Columbine Drive.

12:08 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help with a gas leak in the 400 block of Rollingstone Drive.

8:46 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person who was knocking on doors and claiming to be a housekeeper in the 3300 block of Covey Circle. Police could not find the person.

8:48 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of a vehicle on fire near mile marker 144 on U.S. Highway 40.
