12:21 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of two men fighting at a bar in the 700 block of Yampa Street.

1:30 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a resident who did not feel safe because of a bear in a driveway at River Queen Lane and Clubhouse Drive. It was scared away.

3:37 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with back pain in the 1300 block of Athens Plaza.

11:11 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear that had gotten into trash in the 2500 block of Riverside Drive.

11:25 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who thought someone might be in their apartment.

11:31 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain.

2:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of gas stolen from a station in the 500 block of Marketplace Plaza.

2:29 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help with a smoker that caught fire at a restaurant in the 800 block of Yampa Street.

4:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 2200 block of Storm Meadows Drive. A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault and child abuse.

4:58 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help with a crash near mile marker 113 on U.S. Highway 40.

6:57 p.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a report of fireworks at the Spring Creek Trail. There were 36 other complaints about fireworks during the night.

6:59 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help an unconscious person in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

8:15 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a drunken man floating down the river near Fetcher Pond. The man was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

10:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear that had gotten into a home through a window in the 1700 block of Natches Way. The bear left.

11:02 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help with a crash near mile marker 12 on Routt County Road 33.
