3 Steamboaters on US moguls squad

Steamboat Springs — Steamboat Springs will again be well represented on the U.S. Freestyle Moguls Ski Team. Three local skiers were on the team, which was announced Tuesday just ahead of the season's first World Cup.
Eliza Outtrim is back on the A Team following a season in which she earned her first trip to the Olympics and won the U.S. National Championships.
Sophia Schwartz will spend her first full season on the A Team after a red-hot run last winter earned her World Cup starts and took her to the doorstep of the Olympics.
Finally, Jeremy Cota, a veteran of the A Team, will compete on the C Team.
Those three are joined by plenty of experienced veterans.
Pat Deneen, who has trained with the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, is back on the A Team.

Two-time Olympic medalist Hannah Kearney leads the women in what will be her final season. Vail's Heidi Kloser is back after a devastating injury at the Olympics, and Heather McPhie, from Bozeman, Montana, is on the squad again. Both are on the A Team.
Sho Kashima and Bradley Wilson are back on the men's A Team.
Joe Discoe, Troy Murphy, Bryon Wilson, Mikaela Matthews and K.C. Oakley are on the B Team. Ali Kariotis, Keaton McCargo, Bruce Perry Jr., Thomas Rowley, Morgan Schild and Dylan Walczyk are on the C Team.
The team will close its season in Steamboat Springs at the U.S. National Championships in March.
The World Cup season begins Saturday in Ruka, Finland.
