1:38 a.m. A man reportedly was threatening to beat up another man in the 2300 block of Ski Trail Lane. The complaint was unfounded.

3:26 a.m. A woman reportedly was assaulted by a man she was trying to prevent from going up a flight of stairs. Steamboat Springs police mediated the situation and said the woman was not assaulted.



9:27 a.m. A loose dog was taken to the shelter from the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

11:11 a.m. A man moving to Steamboat Springs from El Paso County registered as a sex offender at the police department.



12:10 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 2100 block of Resort Drive.

12:27 p.m. A man in the 200 block of 12th Street found a chewed up elk leg at the end of his driveway.

12:33 p.m. A 19-year-old motorcyclist wrecked his bike near Dream Island Plaza and Lincoln Avenue. The man refused to be taken to the hospital but might have suffered a shoulder injury.

3:04 p.m. A man was taken to the hospital from Routt County Road 43 after he was thrown from a horse.

4:14 p.m. A semitrailer slid into a ditch and was leaking fuel in the 300 block of Anglers Drive. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue cleaned up the spill. No injuries were reported.

5:19 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 2100 block of Resort Drive.

5:48 p.m. A fraud report was taken in Phippsburg.

8:54 p.m. A man reported his drunken wife driving his truck into the side of their garage in Steamboat Springs.

9:55 p.m. A man reported another man missing in the Hahn’s Peak area. The missing man’s car was later found in Oak Creek, and everything was fine.

10:07 p.m. Steamboat police assisted Craig police in searching for a 15-year-old runaway. Steamboat police were unable to locate the girl.

10:43 p.m. A 34-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested in the 500 block of Seventh Street on suspicion of failing to appear in court.

11:36 p.m. A man complained about hearing construction noise on Mount Werner Circle. A warning was given.
