12:06 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers made a traffic stop at Lincoln Avenue and Eighth Street, and they arrested a 25-year-old Steamboat Springs man on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence per se and making a left turn from the wrong lane.
12:27 a.m. Police responded to a reported assault for someone in the emergency room at Yampa Valley Medical Center. The person said he had been punched in the face in Steamboat Springs about an hour earlier. Officers took a report.
1:54 a.m. Police made contact with two bicyclists who appeared to be intoxicated at U.S. Highway 40 and Old Fish Creek Falls Road. Police said the people were fine to continue on their way.
2 a.m. Police made a traffic stop in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue near the Ski Town KOA Campground and arrested a 23-year-old Steamboat Springs man on suspicion of DUI and weaving.
2:01 a.m. Police responded to a report of a drunken pedestrian in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue, where a man was passed out. Police said the man was unresponsive but breathing, and he was released to a sober person after he woke up.

10:03 a.m. Police took a report of a lost wallet in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.
10:16 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies took a report of trespassing in the 40300 of Anchor Way in Steamboat II.
11:29 a.m. Police arrested a 20-year-old Steamboat Springs man in the 2000 block of Shield Drive on a warrant for DUI.
11:52 a.m. Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a request for an officer on Routt County Road 29 in Oak Creek. A report was taken.
12:45 p.m. Police responded to a report of domestic violence in Steamboat Springs. A report was taken.
12:51 p.m. Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Colorado 131 between mile markers 54 and 55, where an unoccupied car was off the road with both airbags deployed.
1:52 p.m. Police took a report of a lost wallet in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.
2:26 p.m. Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on Colo. 131 near mile marker 60. There were no injuries.
4:07 p.m. Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a reported theft of miscellaneous construction equipment in the 13800 block of C.R. 7 in Yampa. A report was taken.
6:19 p.m. Police responded to a request for an officer at a laundry facility in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. Officers took an underage male to detox, and issued him a ticket for a minor in possession of alcohol.
6:33 p.m. Police responded to road hazard at Lincoln Avenue and Third Street, where a lane divider and a road sign in the westbound lane of Lincoln Avenue had been knocked down. An officer replaced the divider and the sign.
7:13 p.m. Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a request for an officer on U.S. 40 near mile marker 143, where there were rocks in the road. An officer removed the rocks.
7:20 p.m. Police and Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of domestic violence in Steamboat Springs. Officers arrested a 31-year-old transient man, who is a citizen of Indonesia, on suspicion of third-degree assault and harassment related to domestic violence. Police said a woman reported an earlier incident of physical violence while she and the man were in a car on U.S. 40 near the east end of Steamboat Springs.
7:38 p.m. Police responded to a report of two shoplifters in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The people had attempted to steal about $75 in DVDs. They were issued citations for shoplifting.
10:47 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue responded to reported fire in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Court, where a couch was in flames on a sidewalk and two young males were taking pictures of the fire. Fire Rescue firefighters put out the flames when they arrived. Police said the cause of the fire appeared to be intentional, but it is not known who set it. The incident is under investigation.
