Steamboat Briefs: SkyWest Job Fair to be held Tuesday at The Haven

SkyWest Airlines is seeking to hire new agents at Yampa Valley Regional Airport and will hold a Job Fair Tuesday at The Haven at 800 S. Sheldon Lane in Hayden.
Full- and part-time positions are available. Registration for the event is at 9:30 a.m. and presentation and interviews begin promptly at 10 a.m.

Horizons seeks volunteers to spend time as mentors
Horizons Specialized Services is seeking volunteers to serve as mentors to individuals with developmental disabilities. Volunteers spend at least three hours a month with Horizons clients. VNA offering tools to help locals kick nicotine habits

Pink scarves sought to benefit breast cancer
Donations of pink scarves are appreciated to benefit the Yampa Valley Breast Cancer Coalition, which will sell the scarves at Epilogue Book Co. to raise funds for the annual Bust of Steamboat event. Donations of pink scarves can be dropped off at the bookstore. Scarves will be for sale at the bookstore and then at the Bust of Steamboat, which is Oct. 30 at Three Peaks Grill.
