Artisans invited to Hahn’s Peak event
Last call for vendors for the second annual Hahn’s Peak Arts, Crafts and Antiques Fair, which is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 25. Anyone who would like space for the fair should call Marge at 879-7291. Spaces are $30 each, with proceeds benefiting the Hahn’s Peak Historical Society. Vendors keep their profits.
Ken Eriksen’s Tour de Steamboat is Aug. 11

Flat Tops Llama Trek fundraiser is Aug. 6 to 8
The Flat Tops Llama Trek, a fundraiser for Yampatika, is from Aug. 6 to 8. Hike with the llamas on this amazing wilderness camping experience. Explore high peaks, mountain meadows and stunning views of the Flat Tops Wilderness. The cost is $650 a person for four nights or $350 a person for two nights. Call 871-9151 to register.
Soggy Doggy Washdown is Aug. 4 at Alpine Bank

Mainstreet Farmers Market in need of performers
The Mainstreet Farmers Market is looking for entertainers, musicians and buskers interested in performing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays on the courthouse lawn. Entertainment is needed through Sept. 1. Call Tracy at 846-1800 if you are interested in scheduling a date or getting on the list of potential entertainers. Some funds are available.
Steamboat Wine Festival takes place Aug. 2 to 5
The fourth annual Steamboat Wine Festival is Aug. 2 to 5. Sample nearly 700 wines, spirits and beers from around the globe, and enjoy food from some of the area’s best restaurants. The festival includes a Viking Steel Chef Competition, wine education seminars and a chance to talk to numerous wine experts. Tickets vary in price depending on the event.
