On the Market: Board of Realtors names new officers
October 18, 2009
Lori Thompson, of Colorado Group Realty, received the prestigious Realtor of the Year Award at the Steamboat Springs Board of Realtors annual Inaugural and Rewards Banquet on Oct. 9 at Catamount Ranch Golf Club.
Jill Limberg, Education Division vice president for the Colorado Association of Realtors, installed Ulrich Salzgeber of Buyer’s Resource Real Estate as 2010 president of the Steamboat Board.
Steve Downs, last year’s recipient, presented the award to Thompson.
“Lori has given unselfishly in service to our Steamboat Springs Board of Realtors,” Downs said. “Lori gave time to the community while leading the local board through the rough decision-making process in the real estate market of today.”
During Thompson’s term as president, she focused on bringing new technology to the members. The new Real Estate Transaction Standard platform expands the availability of local MLS data to the public.
Paragon mobile allows MLS data to be viewed on brokers’ phones.
